Thankfully Christmas is officially over. No more shopping, wrapping and trying to finish any last minute knitting projects. I was a mad women on Christmas Eve trying to finish up not one, but four knitting projects. I have to say I did finish. My Goddaughter loved her Gap-tastic Cowl I made for her. Can't tell you how many mistakes were in it, but those stitches were made with love. The other three projects were fingerless mittens. Those were a hit as well. There were easy and quick knits and perfect for everyone. I finally made a pair for myself.

The Elf has arrived!
Thanksgiving weekend is usually a crazy for me. I am the nut who goes out at midnight to go shopping, but I do get it all done. During this same weekend our Elf arrives from his long journey from the North Pole.
His name is Dinging because my son thought he could hear the bell ring in his hat. Our family elf has been up to no good lately, he's been seen having hot cocoa, reading a book, listening to music, hanging from ceiling, hiding in the stocking & this morning he is coloring. I'm not sure what he'll be doing tomorrow.
Our tree is half way up, it's funny because my son puts all his favorite ornaments all to one side of the tree. Later we will finish it up.
